The Turkish-German Recruitment Agreement turned 60 on October 30th, 2021.
Alphabet of Longing is a collection of poetic texts dedicated to the memory of the Turkish guest workers in Germany. The first generation of contemporary witnesses is being forgotten in our collective memory and our official culture of remembrance. This book is a powerful plea for recognition, visibility - and against forgetting.
